“In Re” embodies the design principles that characterize our perspective on our architectural work. A simple interpretation of this phrase might be “in context”. Context

in our view

includes both the tangible and intangible; the material that forms our design as well as the environment which affects each project. These contextual influences are inevitably specific to time and place

and are used as forces to guide our design and define the individuality of each project. We call this mechanism “projection from context to design”

and this represents one aspect of our design philosophy. The other aspect can be termed “(re)projection from design to context”

meaning an active critical approach to the existing context that molds our design. We believe that a significant roles of design is to contribute to the expansion of current architectural ideas and techniques by providing new perspectives. These attitudes are the reason why we have created an international design team with an open-minded point of view

bringing a flexible and distinct conceptual approach to each project.
